Steps to a Parkinson's Disease Evaluation

In-Home Testing is provided throughout most of NH

Step#1: Clinical Interview Conducted Over Zoom


  • The clinical interview takes about 1-2 hours to complete and is performed online through Zoom. During this interview you (and a loved one/ caregiver, if necessary) will be asked about your medical, psychiatric and social history. 


Step #2: Neuropsychological Testing Provided In Your New Hampshire Home


  • The in-home testing session takes about 5-7 hours to complete and involves completing a number of paper-and-pencil tests measuring a variety of cognitive functions, including IQ, attention, working memory, executive functions, learning and memory, language, visuospatial and perceptual reasoning, motor and emotional functioning. 


Step #3: Feedback Session Conducted Over Zoom


  • The feedback session takes about 1 hour to complete and involves receiving feedback about the evaluation, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations. Copies of the neuropsychological report will be given to you and any healthcare provider that you choose (with a signed release form).
